he belts her in the face, and she drops to the ground

when she is on the ground, (someone starts screaming) he kicks her in the head (from what I am seeing)

I didn't see the kick, this video card sucks. Will check out at work in a minute.

PS I posted this in the OWS violence thread but needs as much visibility as possible.

I really don't "get" this kind of a protest where they purposely block the street knowing ahead of time that they'll be forced off of the street, just so they can then complain about having been forced off the street. ???

Doesn't make much sense to me, to protest like that.

What's your idea of the ideal protest? Maybe you can drop it in the suggestion box. :)

What's wrong with marching up and down the sidewalk? Picketers do that and it's good enough for them.

Besides, what purpose does it serve the cause to get yourself arrested? A lot of these people are complaining about no jobs. An arrest record only makes it that much less likely for them to get a good job. ie they're shooting themselves in the foot.

Take this as a compliment, I seldom agree with you, but your spot on here. these retards dont even know what they want, they just protest for the sake. I seen the Ilk in Chicago last week and its mostly Marxist bullshit and confusion.

I think most people realize on some level, that banks receiving trillions in "free money and bailouts", and the average joe on the street getting stuck with the bill, and still forced to pay his mortgage, and car payment, etc that something is just not right.

I am not for class warfare either, but most of these folks got wealthy, not off being smart, a hard worker, inventing something that serves mankind, etc

they got wealthy off being a parasite, they offer no real value at all, and if the monetary system was not tied directly to the banking system, then if these guys disappeared tomorrow, no one would really miss them....

thats the sad reality.

they hold our country hostage, because a major collapse of the banks could either detonate the derivatives bomb, or it could just stop the flow of all money and credit

either one is a death blow.

so every few months, they approach bernanke, and say "keep the spigots open or....."

and if bernanke balks, they take it to congress, and talk about "no money, massive riots, mad max, etc" and of course the check is written.....

Personally I feel like I'm between a rock and a hard place on this one.

1 - That's bullshit on the cops part

2 - These protesters seem like lazy sacks of shit that want a communist government which will take my hard earn money

They definitely have the right to protest, but they're protesting the wrong people. The guberment gave these psychopathic wall street banks the ability to fuck up, and them being psychopaths, they did just that, fuck up. There's a shit load of blame to go around, but the protesters are bunch of liberal commie scum, and the everyone else involved are evil money grubbing scum.

This whole thing looks like controlled opposition, but it seems like the middle class doesn't give a fuck, they're just trying to keep their head above water. God forbid the middle America gets fed up and starts shooting fuckers.

That reminds me of what I told the 20-something the other night who told me that most people in his generation want to kill those in mine and older, and I told him that while I feel your pain of realizing how everythings been sold-out, that his generation is vastly outnumbered and that the older ones already have guns and know how to use them and that if a violent uprising ever happened by his generation that they'd be slaughtered.
...and that violence is not the way to "fix things" unless you want to lose any freedom that any of us have left.

I concur, as to your 2nd point though I think the question should be asked, these protesters don't like tax money going to the ultra rich, ok I agree, but how do they feel about tax money going to them. Somehow I don't think that would bother them, which is a problem, it appears to be merely an argument of "hey your sending my entitlements to the ultra rich"

"hey your sending my entitlements to the ultra rich"That's exactly what it is. They see people they think have excess "money" and don't see why more of it shouldn't be spread around. I will say there are some good ones in there, but they seem to be outnumbered by those who want more than they themselves are willing to pay for.

I've talked with some 20-somethings that see no reason why college shouldn't free, to be paid for by everyone via taxes.
