This is a huge turn for Limbaugh, who till now has marginalized Paul bordering on denigrating him. If Limbaugh embraces Paul, there are millions of conservatives and Republican who will begin verbalizing support for Paul without fear of embaressment. They now have Limbaugh to legitimitize their opinion. Granted this is not the ideal way for votes to be won. But in the real world, the majority fear really thinking for themselves and are attracted to parties for this reason. In any event, this is a huge boost for Paul. Cain appears to be imploding. Perry's hallowness and thin intellect are seeping through the fake macho veneer. I think the street protests such as OWS have awakened people to the urgency of today's fiscal and financial situation. More and more people are coming to realize that we simply cannot afford another do nothing administration and Congress that niggles around the budget and cooks the numbers but is not serious about reform. The single biggest obstacle to Paul is Romney. Paul has to convince the people that Romney is "their" guy and if he is elected it will be more of the same and tantamount to a bankruptcy reorganization of the country at the expense of the people and for the benefit of the kleptocracy. In this regard, Limbaugh can be a huge megaphone for Paul.

Don't get too giddy yet, Rush it seems was spinning this as a type of idea theft from him and his show by RP and his 1T budget plan.

Well of course Rush thinks very highly of himself . . . The fact that he didn't dismiss RP and the plan, is actually very good news.

There is another money bomb on the 19th . . . Money and getting the message to the masses is paramount right now.

I'm damn leary of this and am very close to calling BS cause it don't pass the smell test. RP has had these idea's for a very long time, just read his books. Rush could have gotten on board with RP a LONG time ago but didn't...why now? Why make it sound like RP ripped his idea's off?

I've followed RP for a long time. We're on the same page there!!

I don't really think Rush likes any of the candidates. He seems to be stirring the pot; I think he injected Himself into RP's plans so as to cover his ass if RP gets momentum.

I'm not seeing a downside for Ron Paul. Any publicity is better then none.

...and since he has rabid followers who see him as "right", he can't just come out and say RP has been right all along because that would mean RL has been wrong all along.

No, it's much safer for RL to say that RP has finally come around to what RL had already been saying.....as he grabs the rail of the band wagon to pull himself aboard.
ie it's all about RL and his face.

I hope that useless fat fuck chokes on a bag of dicks.

But if he get major support for Ron Paul he will get a temporary pass from me.

I am still leery of Limbaugh as anything but a Judas Goat for leading people where TPTB want them to go on major issues.
He has never repudiated the NAFTA fiasco.
How he helped torpedo Perot.
That was when I first realized he was not as honest about things as he claims to be.
When NAFTA was to be voted on, many of its supporters in Congress were voted out because of their support for it and
Americans did not want it.
Then there was another session of congress called AFTER the election while the losing congressscum were still there and they voted for it.

I remember callers to Limbaugh were outraged that they were going to go forward with a vote before the new people could be put in, and
Limbaugh actually stopped all discussion of the subject on his show.

He could have helped stop the vote for NAFTA that was a large part of destroying industry in the USA.
He has never mentioned how he helped to get it through. Never has expressed any regret.

I like a lot of what he says on many subjects, but I am clear on his being a mouthpiece for the BIG items that his owners want pushed.
He often claims to be only an entertainer when he is called on some things, but he is actually a collaborator.

Is Rush a babylonian talmudist?

If so, that would explain why he would suddenly start supporting RP. The agents of revolution always play both sides of the fence.
