i'd like to add: some people are not even aware god exists anymore. take a 13 year old kid whose parents aren't religious, etc.

Not sure about this one, Horn. A quote from movie "My heart is for my family, my brains and balls are for business." I tend to agree with that.

You will fail in anyone of those areas without heart, it is the beginning and end to all of them.

The only reason your head is attached is so that the heart has communion.

Nope I disagree, you can't let your heart override your ass when your in business, otherwise you will never make any money, everybody wants to pull on those heartstrings and get something for nothing, no..... I am in business and if I fell for every hard luck story and thought with my heart I'd be outta business by now.

"Someone pulling on your heart strings"...retreats from the outer stimuli.

Your heart knows what it wants and how to get it, whether it feels the need for money or otherwise nothing, and is fulfilled.

while i endorse herb use whole heartedly, i will also concede that it's not for everyone. but in the interest of research, maybe he should try it...lol

I'd actually really like to. If it wasn't for drug testing for work, I'd be game. I can get tested on a moments notice, so it's just not worth it for me right now however.

But the other one that's hard to place except when it sits like a lump in your throat. Doesn't show up on x-ray machines

How did we go from and apology between forum members, to heated arguments to hearts and balls and... oh yeah nevermind. If I could summarize the atmosphere in the past few mos. for this board, it would be that apparently "Divide and Conquer" by TPTB has all but failed, maybe I'm overreacting, but I can't contain myself, can you feel the love? *chuckles*
I stated before I hardly ever post then I do & I try to agree w/a member many here disagree with & as has happened in the past, a book comes flying off the self w/a simple pic to explain all that is meaningful. I was thinking the OP would soon follow & back him up, but as far as I know I have not been on her badside, so there shouldn't be a reason for her to do so. When I see this thread, I was glad to see she had the balls and heart as horn explained, to "man" up to her mistake & I applaud whether she cares or not. I think where many of us go wrong is in the assume, misundertood & jump to conclusions categories. But we all know what this makes out of those that ASSuME right? Also, we instinctively form cliques(sp?) as if still in highschool, wtf? I may agree w/Joeking, po boy today, doesn't mean I will tomorrow & they know that. I also don't like to hear about the bads in minorities that some call out like G.o.D, dogman, wildcard, and many others, yet I took the advice w.c.gave and kept "thick skin" I accept many of their points are true & can't get mad at them for truth. Anyways, again thanks to Ximmy for starting this thread, another pressure release valve as someone prevsly mentioned. United We Stand.

In most cases, one chooses to be ignorant. All the information is avaliable if one desires to know it.

Also, how does "lil' Johnny" get through school without learning to read while all those around him do? The information was readily avaliable, but it was ignored.
....and yes, some teachers also turned a blind eye, but it was johnny who first chose not to pay attention.

Again, for one to do that, they must willfully decide to do so.

I'd say the urge towards it has already arrived.

I was answering Santa about the type of ignorance that's widely displayed in society today.
ie that people think they already know how things work and why they are the way they are, and therefore reject all contrary information.

I've experienced it in many people myself over the decades when trying to explain why a debt-based monetary system is a bad thing due to its inevitable end result......but because everything seemed ok at the time, the information was rejected outright due to the perception of their own knowledge on the subject.
