We, in America don't squat at all. In school I noticed Asian students sqatting all the time while waiting for class, etc. Americans have not exercised their leg muscles for prolonged squatting. We'd tip over trying to take a dump in this position. But, if we exercised to include squatting and were accustomed to using these muscles, we would probably crap better regardless of seating position, just because of being fit by the daily usage of squatting muscles. I try to squat/kneel down as often as I can during the day and do some light dumbbell squats as well, keep the upper thigh muscles in shape.

Man Jailed After Trying To Turn His Poop into Gold

Paul Moran, 30, thought his bathroom breaks would make him flush with cash if he kept his own waste and heated it to produce the precious metal, at his government-subsidized apartment in Enniskillen, in the province's southeast.
However, the Belfast Telegraph reported his bizarre plan turned out to be a waste of time when he caused £3,000 ($4,735) worth of damage after placing his own feces on an electric heater in July.

The fire service was called out but police became suspicious after an officer at the scene overheard Moran tell someone he had put "fertilizer" on a heater.
Moran, whose lawyer described him as a man of "considerable intellectual ability," will now spend the next three months looking at prison bars, rather than the bullion bars he was hoping to create.
