I'm way out in the boonies and have just had at least four unusual flights overhead. The loudness reminded me of when I lived near an air base.
Is anyone noticing different air traffic right now?
Volcano? Special mission launching? This is unusual.

When there's bad weather off in certain directions, I notice planes flying routes near me that they normally don't. Any bad weather anywhere around your region of the country?

Not yet, they are still laying down the trails that will create the bad weather.

The weather is just peachy in the entire northwest. The only planes I ever see are way up there. And I never hear any.
The planes I heard and felt were back-to-back. This is odd.

There's always retarded traffic around L.A. but I will say, since it was hazy and a little overcast today, they did start spraying again.

I thought of Fairchild but I'm really not in their flight pattern. Besides, this is the only time I've ever heard any big jets. All's back to quiet now.
I did see a post on ATS from someone in Seattle that reported a strange light in the sky attributed to a meteorite tonight. Almost around the same time. Hum.

BOISE, Idaho — Two things you don’t see often at Bronco Stadium: a full set of stands before the game and a full set of stands in the fourth quarter.
Air Force provided both Saturday — courtesy of a city-rocking pregame flyover by four F-15s and its clock-churning, yardage-gaining triple-option offense that kept Boise State’s defense on the field and, perhaps more importantly, its lethal offense on the sidelines. What should not be lost in the hand-wringing over Air Force’s 13 third- and fourth-down conversions or the relatively close 37-26 final score is this: What a great college football afternoon for the record-setting crowd at Bronco Stadium.
:o Didn't know about the game at the time but that sudden unannounced four F-15 flyover startled the birds and dogs and people in this entire valley. Didn't actually see them but the roar and rumble was teeth-grinding.
