I am sure they have road graders all up and down those dirt roads.

I can't see the vid for some reason. Anyway, Barrick Goldstrike has four autoclaves which had to be brought up the canyon to the mine site. The trailers for those behemoths were custom built and was actually set up so that the rear wheels could steer, otherwise they couldn't negotiate the corners in the canyon.

i'm training to drive that thing.

i rented a medium size flatbed last week. when i went to fill up - tanks on both sides - i got stuck in the gas station. couldn't go forwards, couldn't go backwards.

i jumped out and walked to the growing line of cars, went to each one & apologized. one guy said, "don't worry, it's not your fault !" - i thought that was funny.

then i dis-assembled the side of the truck that was stuck (the stake in stake-bed - like a flatbed with walls), waited for the cars to clear the double-wide mid-section, and drove through there.

good way to learn - glad that didn't happen with a loaded truck.

SO GLAD no one from the gas station said anything - about the small pieces of plaster i knocked down ;)
