I'm in the technology business and I'd say that this video is pretty damn accurate in the way this works and how it's going to go down.

I think we've seen this coming for quite sometime.

To be honest I'm surprised its taking this long for them to control the interwebs.

Agreed. As a recommendation, everyone should update their antivirus software before this happens, just in case. ;)

3 minutes? How long does it take for TPTB to light off a FF tactical nuke?

Just as a backup plan, it's a good idea to save your favorite sites IP addresses in case there is any DNS shenanigans going on at the time or afterwards.

the nation will be blind, and mute for 3 minutes (3 minutes minimum, who knows, maybe the drill goes for 8 hours)...

I have been thinking on possible scenarios, and I agree the internet is a big sore issue for them...

This is probably a perfect thread to compile some Shortwave stations that we can all listen to to keep in the loop if the FF SHTF.

Any suggestions?

What does this have to do with the internet? From all I've seen, the test applies to broadcast maedia only.
ie TV and radio stations, not the internet or phones or other means of communication.

No mention of internet either.Because it's for broadcast media only.
ie stations who've asked for a license from the FCC

Where did anyone get the idea it was for anything like phones and internet?

Where did anyone get the idea it was for anything like phones and internet?Well you know how some are, never let anything pass by without putting your own spin/thoughts on a topic, whether it is true or not. The dark side of the force is strong in some and they never let truth or reality get in their way.

The need to spin DOOM is strong in some!

On November 9, the public will hear a message indicating that "This is a test." The audio message will be the same for both radio and television. Under the FCC's rules, radio and television broadcasters, cable operators, satellite digital audio radio service providers, direct broadcast satellite service providers and wireline video service providers are required to receive and transmit presidential EAS messages to the public. A national test will help the federal partners and EAS participants determine the reliability of the system and its effectiveness in notifying the public of emergencies and potential dangers nationally and regionally.

Wouldn't direct broadcast satellite service providers include all internet service? Seems like it wouldsince all satellite broadcasting is under FCC jurisdiction, no?

I think it is in the nature of the Internet to make it a very hard thing to do, not saying it can not be done. But to break into all connected user computers/firewalls etc.

This test is more in line with traditional emergency broadcasts, commercial radio and television. Non commercial radio, phones, and Internet do not imho apply.

Go back to my old postings......"They will be able to disconect your computer, cell phone, regular phone, TV and later on your radio".......sinse I wrote that I believe that now they can do it with your radio........all this this thanks to the Digital Technology..........as soon as it came out that our old TV waves were going to become digital I knew what was up.

As you know all digital phones were disconnected in the subway in NY the day that there was some kind of protest, the power to be already hade the "dujikies" in place inside of the subway station.

The bad thing about this is that even if we were to become free all this junk are going to stay in place.......FOR OUR PROTECTION............like it or not our world is now in Terra Nova.

Anyone who gets internet over cable TV wire is for sure included. That's a lot of people.

Something is up with this. It reeks of bullshit in every direction.

If they say it's for safety, no way in hell it's for that.

If they say it's for safety, no way in hell it's for that. It's for TV and radio stations that broadcast a signal. Is the internet broadcasted? I don't thnk it is.
Have you ever known of something being broadcast to your computer over the internet that you didn't click on? So how are they going to broadcast something to everyones computer screen? Most of which, by the way, are behind a router/firewall.

...and nothing is going to be turned off. Instead of "broadcasting" Oprah or some other TV or radio show, they'll broadcast a test signal for 3 minutes instead. Big whoop.

This is nothing more than a glorified version of the emergency test signal that all stations have been doing since forever. With the difference being that it's going to last a minute longer and be all stations at the same time, as opposed to letting them run the test when they want to.
