The hackers' main offensive tool is disrupting computer and internet systems. I can't imagine that the drug cartels rely so much on computers and internet, considering theirs is a deep underground black market. It sounds more like an empty, retarded threat more than anything. Agreed. These drug rings are operating on such high levels of government authority that they would not be dependant on the internet for dealing.

I speculate that they simply make phone calls with no regard for repercussions, because they are untouchable.

K so I watched this, and I am reminded of the last Anonymous video that came out, in which they said they were going to crash Wall Street or something by such and such a date, and it never happened.
