‘Occupy the Vatican’ postpones disruption of Sunday morning downtown mass (http://www.theprovince.com/news/Occupy+Vatican+postpones+disruption+Sunday+morning +downtown+mass/5630342/story.html#ixzz1cVav0R12)

A faction of Occupy Vancouver protesters stopped short of a planned disruption of mass at the Holy Rosary Cathedral in downtown Vancouver on Sunday morning due to a police presence outside of the church.

But the offshoot group of the anti-corporate protest -- calling themselves the “Occupy the Vatican” movement -- later decided they will march on the cathedral Sunday afternoon.

Protester Bluesky Wolfman, speaking in lieu of march organizer Kevin Annett, said the motion to bring attention to thousands of residential school survivors was postponed due to a “heavy police presence” at the Vancouver Art Gallery and the cathedral.

“We see history one way and everyone sees it another way and we need to come together to talk,” Wolfman said Sunday.

“We need to start discussing the hardest parts of our history together and that way we can move forward as brothers and sisters,” he said, with a group of a few dozen largely First Nations members looking on.

Other Occupy protesters are saying Sunday’s “Occupy the Vatican” movement did not gain consensus at Saturday night’s general assembly and is thus not being supported by the majority.

“Today’s march is not approved by the general assembly,” said Yann Savard.

Worshippers at the church breathed out a sigh of relief as they streamed out of the front doors of the cathedral following Sunday morning mass.

“It’s a sense of very good relief -- we believe it came from heaven that (the protesters) didn’t come,” said Alvaro Da Costa-Varela, a member of the downtown parish for over 25 years and former Canadian Army veteran standing on guard outside of the cathedral alongside a handful of Vancouver Police officers.

Da Costa-Varela, also a member of the Catholic-sponsored Knights of Columbus, said Vancouver Archbishop J. Michael Miler requested extra police protection at the church, and “brothers” from other Knights of Columbus counsels across B.C. and the Yukon are present in case a march does go ahead in the afternoon.

“We took the threat very serious ... the Knights of Columbus’ duty is to protect our Church, our Pope, our Clergy, and make sure everyone leaves in peace,” he said.

Another worshipper, Alvaro Olaguera, 24, said an occupation of his church would be unfortunate.

“We have our right to worship, they have their right to protest,” said Olaguera.

“But I think, at least for me, the right to worship supersedes that.”

Vancouver, Squamish sovereign territory
[IntelHub?] October 31, 2011:

Two dozen men and women from Occupy Vancouver and the Occupy the Vatican movement, most of them aboriginal, faced assaults and a human blockade from members of the Catholic Knights of Columbus yesterday outside Holy Rosary Cathedral, while trying to peacefully occupy it and enforce a legal eviction order against the Roman Catholic church for its murder of thousands of residential school children.

“I kept yelling to the police to help us but they just stood there at the church entrance and did nothing, even when the Knights of Columbus were shoving one man and making him fall right off the church steps” described a female member of Occupy Vancouver.

“It’s like the cops were being private security for the church, and the Knights of Columbus were acting like police”.

The planned occupation was called last week to bring attention to the Catholic church’s illegal occupation of Squamish land, and their genocide of native children.

On Saturday, the action was temporarily postponed after two undercover operatives were exposed as attempting to incite violence at the church.

Nevertheless, a group of native elders went to the church later and read the eviction notice to the police and catholics barring the church entrance.

Aboriginal woman and member of Occupy Vancouver declares Chief Kiapilano’s March, 2008 Banning and Eviction order against the Catholic church.

The Vancouver media distorted the Sunday action to make it seem that Occupy Vancouver disavowed the action, which is not true.

No media reported the exposure of the undercover operatives or the fact that over a hundred Occupy Vancouver members have merely postponed their protest to next Sunday.

One of the protest organizers and a legal agent for Squamish elder Kiapilano, Kevin Annett (Eagle Strong Voice), commented today,
“There’s a mayoral election on in Vancouver these days, and every politician is trying to win votes by calling for the Occupy camp to be shut down.

What better scare tactic to inflame the citizenry than claiming that a bunch of wild Indians from the camp are storming a church?” commented Kevin Annett today.

Annett has been authorized by Kiapilano to enforce his 2008 Eviction Order against the Catholic church in Vancouver.

“The occupation of these churches will continue, peacefully, and with increasing support from many people. The eyes of the world or on us. We will return next Sunday” announced Annett.

Occupy the Vatican groups across Canada and the world have declared their plans to take over Catholic churches in their communities.

A Press Statement and Ultimatum addressed to the Pope and the Vancouver Catholic Archdiocese will be issued later today.

THE PLOT (http://www.catholicvoice.co.uk/pinay/)

AGAINST (http://www.catholicvoice.co.uk/pinay/)

THE CHURCH (http://www.catholicvoice.co.uk/pinay/)

I recall Easter week last year, I'd watch the local ZSM newscast on TV, and every night, within the first 5 mins, there'd be a story about a Catholic priest scandal somewhere in the world. This was the local newscast. These editorial decisions were no accident, nor was the timing. Meanwhile pedophile rabbis don't exist! :p

Remember the movie "V for Vendetta" ? The gratuitous Christian priest scene, coming onto the "girl" (dressed in school girl costume) ?

I have little doubt who's behind this "Occupy the Vatican" splinter group-- they'll prolly stage some "Muslim theater (http://gold-silver.us/forum/showthread.php?55471-Agent-provocateur-quot-muslims-quot-in-Quebec)" for the ZSM cameras, except the talmud thumpers will be masquerading as priests, & grabbing everyone's ass.

I'll start paying attention when there's an "Occupy Chabad Lubavich (http://www.iamthewitness.com/news/2008.12.03-Chabad.Mafia.html) House" splinter group!
