Turkey Pulls out of NATO
Reports out of Turkey sight government sources that say that Turkey is pulling out of NATO and withdrawing its application for E.U. member status. In September the U.S. cancelled all further sales of replacement parts for Turkish Military Jets such as the F16. Turkey has been calling for moderation dealing with Iran’s nuclear program but has protested a U.S. led effort to establish an independent Kurdistan.
Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan has scheduled a press conference for Saturday noon in Ankara.
Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen to make announcement 5PM EST.

Look for the war against Iran to start soon! I hope to hell not! But our hawks have been setting the stage for an attack, Preemptive wars are disgusting!
All this over potential nukes being developed... When there is already a rogue state that occupies territory that is not theirs and has hundreds of nukes already.

I heard nothing about this whatsoever. But if it is true expect military confrontation with Iran/Syria within days. I don't think it is likely this is true though.

I took a hard look at what was on the web and almost nothing about this. Turkey pulling out of NATO would be huge and one would expect more net babble about it than what there is now.
