The key part (if you're a Parliamentary member) is to act surprised.

Would you submerge YOUR nationality into a federation?

Ooops, asking the wrong audience. You already have.

I always thought the Euro was weird. I was much younger then, and so I didn't know why it didn't sit well with me. The countries are so diverse (well they were, I haven't been back), that it didn't seem like a good idea.

You have good instincts, methinks!

This is great news.

Why? Good for precious metals, or some other reason? (I am not being antagonistic. I don't want you to misinterpret me. K-)

I am asking because it didn't seem like the Euro had much effect on me, personally.

Euro wont crash.... the are too close to having a unified currency.

It is easier to saddle nations with debt via the Euro as opposed to multiple currencies

It's a word game with these a-holes, "we're not planning on joining the EU when it's breaking up". He's right, because it's not breaking up. It's the problem -reaction-solution game all over again. It's time for further consolidation of the EU, not the break up.
