That seems to be a pretty good price. A revolver like that is next on my list, but I don't own any .38 special chambered firearms, and I'd like my revolver to share calibers with one of my semi-autos.

I've had a couple S&W "J" frame .38's and a couple Rossi copies and loved them. The 4" barrel is easier to shoot and also well suited for women and beginners because they're hard to screw up with and make good purse guns. They make good "under the pillow" guns because when you wake up in the middle of the night you want a safe, user friendly gun, not something "cocked and locked" or that goes bang from tossing and turning. Also the .38 is as much velocity as you want to shoot indoors, especially if there are others living there.
I couldn't find them on their website.

Looks like a pretty good deal; I am settled on my 1911s for defense etc but I would never not own a .38 revolver.

I couldn't either, however I received that email from them within the last day.

Model 60 is a stainless steel J-frame. The 4" barrel makes it less suitable for CC, but a steel-framed .38 Special is a very nice home defense gun, especially for those with less experience. Very simple to understand and operate, very reliable and an effective indoor caliber that is easy to control.

Great price, and I like that these are chambered in .38 Special and not .357 Magnum. No need for the longer chamber if you are shooting .38 Sp anyway, as it just leaves a burn rung in the chamber that has to be constantly scrubbed off.
