It's tough to see this but if these local elections are any indication of the way people think, we're going to have 4 more years of Obama.
Today's election was a run-off of a school board spot. The current school system is a disaster. They bus students based on race and income. We're out of there. We homeschool but I still wanted the opponent to win. The opponent supported neighborhood schools, no busing. She was a tea party supporter but this isn't a political race. However, the incumbent sent out a ton of flyers calling her a tea party extremist. Seriously. Almost daily this was in my mailbox. I had to vote for her. She just lot by 4%:(. So people in my county want their kids to be bused. It's crazy. There aren't enough conservatives left to have any influence in this country.
The same thing happened in the mayoral race in the town with the crooked cops that I write about. The existing mayor who did nothing about the police corruption was re-elected.
Thinking about the presidential election, there's a lot of support for Cain right now, very little for Romney or any of the others. RP is second to Cain. What does this mean? Well with the Cain scandal and so little support for any Republican candidates, it likely means Obama will win. Maybe the Cain thing was designed to do just what it's doing. How did it get like this? Why are the good losing this fight? Right is wrong and wrong is right.
