Individuals are looked at as (easily replaceable) cogs in a machine, that's why life isn't valued very much in that part of the world.
Cool pictures and correography but I just fear that one day we might be molded into that type of culture in the not so distant future

We must do the same thing in our schools........study or starved.
To change the country's system you must start by changing the school system......otherwise is nothing more than a dog chasing his own tail.......and if the future of our country is in the hands of our children's we are then in deep shit.

It's a big annual event isn't it? I think they have a season of these things every year. I remember watching a documentary about a young korean girl who wanted to be in one of these events so she could dance for the Great Leader. It was very interesting. Turns out the Great Leader wasn't able to go to their big show and she was very distressed by that.
