Wasn't it you who noted that CONgresscritters don't actually write the bills, that bills are actually written by West Publishing? That would certainly free up their time to pursue debauchery, bribes, and insider info to enrich themselves.

Yep. That was me.

On reflection the title indicates that 666 congressional pages were debauched in the production of this bill. But Barney is leaving so in the future this number should be reduced.

It's for defense spending, and "for other purposes". Dontcha just love how they throw that one in there all the time too? Pretty much means that you don't know what's actually in it unless you read all 666 pages of it.

I did a search for "Israel" just to see what's in it, and on page 631 it says that "Israeli Cooperative Programs" requested over $100 million, and the senate granted them over $150 million, you know, just to make sure it's enough.
