They cast their lot on the side of Tryanny.
When the tables turn they will be offered NO respid and will be dealt with accordingly.
The future has no place for ones that will betray their own for Power
My advice to them...enjoy it will you can .....cause The Devil's coming for his due.

What that video fails to take into consideration is cops know they are on the inside. If any of them protest or otherwise do anything "honorable" then they end up on the outside. And cops, more than anybody, know what it will means to be on the outside when the time comes, which is why they stay on the inside and remain part of the machine. Wouldn't YOU choose to remain in a fraternity that will protect you at any cost regardless of what you do vs. trying to change it from the outside and getting your head busted?
Why do people keep pretending cops and soldiers are capable of "doing the right thing" when their very survival depends on NOT doing the right thing? Somehow the disconnect always fails people's logic when trying to appeal to them. Get it through your thick skulls: cops will kill you and go home to THEIR loved ones - the duality of the system means they get a pass and you don't. That is why we, individually, must choose the time and place to confront them if it comes to that. And when so doing, it will always result in you losing unless you are prepared to die for what you believe in. Only then will you not hesitate at the moment of truth.

I don't care for this youtube guy
He also has a long winded video out there saying. it pretty much pointless to save gold and silver.
He is delusional if he thinks he can appeal to the humanity of those who have none and sleep very well at night in that fact

I'm sick of hearing this idea that cops, military, TSA, etc joined up because they thought they were doing the right thing, and need a job to feed their families blah blah blah, that they are basically goodhearted people that simply don't understand they are working for criminals.
Making a video begging them for their help, asking them to do the right thing, just makes them laugh.
They do the job because someone has told them they can act out their sick, sociopathic fantasies of intimidation, violence and control and not only will they be immune from any prosecution, they will get a guaranteed paycheck! The fact the paycheck is drawn on their victims' bank accounts makes the deal even sweeter.
I've really tried hard to see it from a more benign POV, but I can't get it to make sense any other way.
Truly good people wouldn't consider intimidation and coercion of others as a legitimate way to make a living IMO.

ETA: The fact I've made a blanket statement like this will make me automatically WRONG in some cases; I acknowledge that.
One of my neighbors is a US Marine (career guy) that has been nothing but gracious to me and everyone else in the neighborhood. I would love to think that everyone doing related work could be just as upstanding, but we all know this isn't the case.

Realistically it IS pointless to hoard gold and silver as a prep item UNLESS AND UNTIL one has used one's resources to position one's self/family to be self-sustaining.

I see a folly in thinking one will become rich when the FRN crashes. It seems by then imports will slow and being that the FRN is what most are paid in nothing much will be moving around and those already socked up most likely won't be interested in trading for anything but useful items.

Those producing the food will unlikely be interested in those shiny metals, they're going to be much more concerned about items they use everyday.

"$100 in silver" relative to what??
I'll exchange a couple of days worth of food for that "$100 in silver" of yours and you'll be grateful when the cupboard is bare.

You all have to understand that most people do not understand, or see, the big picture as folks do on this site. Either that, or they accept what the media pushes as the truth.
I strongly believe, most police officers join with the intentions of serving the public, upholding and protecting the constitution (They're sworn duty), and dedicating their lives for that duty.
You must understand what these officers go through...even in police academy the start of their training.

They said when Argentina collapsed, anyone who tried to buy stuff with gold was followed home and then targeted for home invasion, torture, and death.

There are many more bad cops than there are good cops.

Awoke, I disagree. I believe there are many more good cops than bad ones. The bad ones just get all the attention, ie the pepper spraying cop. Everyone focuses on that asshole, yet thousands of cops are out there everyday chasing down rapists, murders, burglars, etc.
It's like the media BS. A famous person creates a "scandal" to get attention. We are conditioned to gossip and focus on negative things in our society, by design.

How many good cops look the other way when they see bad cops breaking the law?
Next question: Did you stop beating your wife?

Awoke, I disagree.
I know you do.
Every cop I have ever met so far in my life is an egotistical narcissitic power-tripping asshole, except one.
One.
Every other cop I have ever interacted with has consistently been a douchebag.

I appreciate that, EE. It's been years and I've finally came to peace with things actually. I've never really posted much details on my experience. At the time, I was testing for fire departments. Lot's of them, competing with 1000's of people for a handful of jobs. I was accepted in to 2 fire academies during that time, made the cut, only to have those academies cancelled due to city budget cuts. I saw an add in the paper for a local police department, a "be all you can be" add, and made the call. Took the test, passed, passed the oral board interview, passed the background check/polygragh and rigorous psychological testing. Lot's of folks broke down during the psych tests, actual mental breakdowns.
I was naive going into academy, really had no clue what I was getting myself into. Gave 100% and 7 months later was sworn in. The day we were sworn in, our lead instructor stood before us, looked us over, and said "you have just joined a gang." That was the first reality shock. Hit the streets the next day. My beat was the worst crime ridden one of the city, and the city one of the most crime ridden ones in the nation. After 3 months of giving everything I had, I couldn't pass the final portion of the sworn-in training. I failed, and was given a choice to resign, or a temporary extension leading to a termination. I resigned because I didn't want a black mark on my record.
It honestly took years to accept that failure. It's tough to give 100%, everything you have, and fail. I'm grateful though, because I see now that was not the path in life I should have been on. This forum, as well, has opened my eyes even more, and made me more grateful for that failure.
I may not agree with a lot of opinions regarding cops on this forum, having been on both sides of the fence. I do think though, had I stayed on that path, I'd be a different person than I am today. I really don't want to think about what kind of person, but law enforcement changes everyone. Thankfully, I like who I am, and who I've become.
