Members of Nuestros Reconquistos, Take Back Aztlán, and the Aztlánian Brotherhood met at the Phoenix Public Library this morning to discuss a future movement for Latinos called “Occupy Aztlán.” It will start in Phoenix and eventually involve protesting in states originally owned by Mexico.


“Occupy Wall Street” has been such as success,” says Nuestros Reconquistos President Manuel Longoria. Latinos will create a symbolic similar movement that will remind Americans who originally owned Mexican lands occupied by California, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas and Oklahoma.”


Latinos plan non-violent protests in mostly upscale areas where rich White people live. Part of the demonstrations include door-to-door protests. “Occupy Aztlán” will start in January.

Well Horn, after being raped the first time you should know better than not to be ready just in case is going to happen again, unless you like it............is like myself, I call everyone a "friend" till they do something that will hurt me and I then cut all contact with that indiidual.................................maybe that's why I like living alone and away from every one, I no longer have to make that choice.

I notice how selective people are with history. I try not to label people but Latinos are more guilty of this than any other race.

They bitch about how they would like to reclaim their empire that was taken from them. What they forget or fail to mention (or were never taught) is that many empires in the Americas were founded by raping, murdering, and warring against OTHER native tribes. There never was unity between the tribes that didn't come from warfare, unless we go back thousands of years, before Christ, there were some empires that were founded by scholar-priests that were unified by reason and education as opposed to war, like the empire at Cuzco.

I have mexican friends and I have to say they are the most guilty of this. They want to go back in time to 1450 when they were on top. But try suggesting going back in time to 600 when they had nothing and lived in another part of the landmass, they don't like to think about that.


Of course I do not believe that anybody should be robbed of natural rights today. I just wish people would study history a little bit more. If they studied we could all move forward in the spirit of education and knowledge, as opposed to moving backward in the spirit of murder. All sides were guilty in the past, let's just drop it already.

I'm not speaking towards the Aztlan empire specifically, but painting with a broad brush towards many of the north and central american tribes.
