I see this whole thing as a huge snub by obama to the jews. Why in the world would he 'celebrate' it early? Obviously he can't completely ignore the holiday, but celebrating it on the wrong day is the next best thing. Jews are all about tradition.....part of the holiday is about it's 'meaning' but at least half of it is about getting the right day.
