I hope Ron Paul sticks it to Newt tonight on Foreign Policy and his statement about Palestine.

There's so many ways to stick it to Newt it ain't funny, if this were whack a Newt it'd be a slaughter....at least hopefully.

I think tonight might be a do or die night for RP. He's needs to BURY Newt and get him to chimp out.

I don't see it that way at all. Think of it as a race between the tortoise and the hare(s). Most the other hares (Hermanator, Michele, Perry, et al) have flamed out.

It's good that Cain is absent this time. Increases the odds that RP will get more time to speak!

It doesn't look the same tonight? Pimp daddy Cain isn't there.
All white tonight.

From the OP link:
Despite all of his baggage (personal, political, and financial), Republican voters are enamored of Gingrich because he expresses their existential panic at the prospect of a second Obama term, and they are drooling at the prospect of their big brainiac facing down the President in general election debates.
Is this all they care about? Not actually fixing any problems, but just having "their guy" in the white house even if he continues the same policies or worse as Obama?

Of course that is all they care about. It's more of a sport to most people, like watching "their" team win in a sporting event.

The only thing that matters is getting obama out. The country can go to hell in a hand basket, they do not care, as long as obama is out.

In a way you're right, Ron Paul is our team and I assume that's all we care about but...this ain't a basketball/football game and the stakes are a whole lot higher. Every debate I get that sense of rooting for RP because he's "my" man, hell or high water, I'm not gonna switch tracks or change aliegence, win, lose or draw.
We here are different though, along with the other millions of Ron Paul supporters, we care and actually know about our history and the truth. I'm synopsizing and I probably am biased as hell but that's just my 2¢ worth.

Yeah I caught that too. Every day huh? Wow. Well then I guess that settles it and we should all just assume it's true because the messenger is a pompous neocon windbag.

So it comes down to Ron Paul and Newt?
I think Mitt is out and sealed his fate with a $10,000 bet. It must have been a tactic he learned on the playground as a kid, as a way to put an opponent on the defensive. I knew someone like that, all he did was make himself look like a dickhead.
The only value Romney has left is for flinging pooh at the self invented conservative.

Well nobody could rightfully claim he's not going all out this time around.
He had some of the best applause lines of all on the stage.
I hate to say it but I believe 4yrs of Barry has got some people looking for REAL change.(hopefully in the form of ASE lol)

Why would you hate to say it? Hell, the D's are even pissed at O, especially on his war stance and promises that's been total BS. The only logical choice is Ron Paul, even if for the simple fact that he is always consistent and does exactly what he says he will. I think the grassroot D's are in many ways more open to Libertarian/Constitutional ideology than those that call themselves conservatives.

Well because of the continued war and further destruction that has been done. I agree the Dems are pissed at the false promises so if they have became more disillusioned with the L/R paradigm which is good.

Thanks for the laughs people, good play by play.
Ron Paul owns them totally.
They pulled Newt out of nowhere to counter Ron Paul.
They are all a bunch of sorry asses and they know it.
Thanks to Libertytree for that find, I don't have cable anymore.
Sunshine link didn't work for me, I love the highlights though.
