A friend of mine scuba diving found 3 10oz Englhard silver bars. ( form another friends boating accident. 8-)
The question is how many grams should the bars way?
I figured 300 grams each as a troy ounce is 30 grams. So 10 x 30 =300 Right, So why do they weigh 312 grams?
Is there a problem here?

A troy ounce is 31.1 grams. Most bars are made slightly heavy to make sure they have enough. This one is only .3% heavy.

Chad? the ones that I found were on the rafter in my roof, 300 oz......same place where at one time I WAS keeping my emergency silver, about 2,000 oz......but the real McCoy is elsewhere............no one knows where that one is at and if I die before cashing them then who ever find them will be very rich......I did placed a bunch of ID with it so that they know who their benefactor is hahahahahahaahah.

Come on guys... I was joking about the scuba diving...
he was cranberry harvesting in a bog with a trained pygmy rhino that he bought from a pudding maker on ebay that sniffs out precious metals!

Come on, Celtic...you are just being a big tease. You are being worse than a woman!
What type of accident enabled you to come into possession of those beautiful bars? And, subsequently lose them in another accident. :)
