Here’s a little phrase the folks at Verizon might want to keep in mind…”This is only a test.”
It seems New Jersey residents were somewhat alarmed after the wireless company sent a text alert to customers in Middlesex, Monmouth, and Ocean counties, warning of a “civil emergency” and telling people to “take shelter now.”
The text was identified as a message from the U.S. Government.
