Just wanted to add, that according to rumour from two independent and reliable sources. The PM was operated for Cancer, 12 cm of his intestine and part of the liver where metastases was found was removed at the surgery. But all the media reported that the polyps removed were NOT cancerous...

I just wanted to bump this, and add that intestinal cancer together with liver metastasis has a very poor prognosis, only 20-30% 5-year survival. Erdogan is probably the strongest PM Turkey has had since Ataturk, and most likely his early departure would throw Turkey into a turmoil, and that would change the power balance in the middle east...
