The video at the link shows a man trying to check into hotel with an ID and cash. The DHS advises that behavior of this type be reported to security personnel.
"No credit card?"
"Yeah, he says he doesn't use them. He gave me an ID but it just doesn't feel right."

Can't have a credit (or debit) card if you won't use a SSN. That SSN is 'the mark of the beast', I'm tellin' ya.

Legal tender? If you made a reservation, you have a contract with them. If you offer legal tender, the contract is settled whether they accept it or not. Maybe Palani can fill in the details.

I have a debit card through my free, non-interest earning checking account at the bank?
Does that count?
We got rid of our actual credit cards years ago and havent looked back. Our credit rating tanked though because we refused to use credit. Go figure.

No but I could OWN a credit card company with that amount. No one owns a credit card except the company that issued it.

The given reason is that w/o a credit card number, it is impossible to take a security deposit.

I keep one credit card to just play the game, and fly under the radar. I charge my gas mostly, and get frequent flyer miles. I have a folding bike now, from cashing in those miles.
We're all in the system now. We are all profiled. Some more than others. I know I'm in the system very deep. More so than I care to share.
I take life day by day. I can be as free as I want to, with knowledge, preparation, and foresight. And honest money too.

From your days as a cop? Fingerprints, psych evals, background checks, etc, etc? Or from something else. Don't feel like I expect an answer, your statement piqued my interest and I'm just being nosey.
But yeah, we are all in the system. If we weren't before, we are now that we have registered on this site.

That, and other gov agencies. Some I tested for, others I was being recruited. All years ago, when I was naive. I'm in there, deep. Why do you think I live on a sailboat? :) It's my way of peace, knowing I can cut loose if needed.

Combining this video with the knowledge of the passing of the NDAA, I feel like I'm on a hit list.
I guess not wanting to participate in the ripoff scheme that is "banking" is a crime now. Officially.
It's a strange feeling.
Very strange.

Privacy is a part of it, but mostly I just don't want to be forced to pay a premium for something that doesn't even truly exist in the first place - credit.
I found that video chilling and disturbing in so many ways I can't even really get my head around it.
I don't want to be hosed by the banks anymore, and that makes me a suspect. A suspect.
"You WILL allow us to rape you, and in such a way that everyone can watch!" Jeez... they are financial perverts.

That video was creepy.
DHS1: "Who was the first terrorist organization in America?"
DHS2: "The founding fathers."
What part of the country do these people come from? I've never met a DHS employee in my life. They seem to need a serious talking to...

I have said it many times, have as many personalities as it suits you. Don't attach yourself to their SS number, have as many ways to survive without their # as you can muster. It is the GIGO effect, garbage in - garbage out.
We are free, the only thing is that many do not choose to recognize that fact, you only comply because you "think" you must comply, you always have a choice to fight back and say NO!
But like anything in life you must begin doing something to gain mastery in it, the beginning is always the difficult part, but with practice you are assured to gain mastery in any matter.
Again, create as many identities as it suits you, and see how life truly improves.

That's a novel idea.... I wish it were as easy as you typing it up. Guarnteed that if I do it, I'd just get in a load of shit....

When it all finally crashes, those smart enough to have not participated will be blamed for its failure and ensuing hardships.

I have to imagine that DHS employees are patriots but not for the Republic. Rather, they are patriots for the NWO and its one world vision.

So not having a credit card makes one a terrorist?
Well then that will make a lot of people I know around here, ones! The people that work their asses off and do not have any pricy toys to play with, trying to support their family's with food and a roof with maybe a/c but most do not have, so they make do with fans. The ones that get may get killed when their houses catch fire, because they are trying to stay warm, by using space heaters and such.
The ones that may be on the poverty line, but usually are far below it. That are too proud to ask for gov assistance if they can help it, but for their kids they may have to.
The ones that do not have bank accounts, or any credit, because it is all they can do is to live from one paycheck, hand to mouth ,to the next with nothing left over.
Yes they are terrorists, and a threat to this nation,
It just makes me sick, because I know a lot of these so called Terrorist and they mostly are the salt of the earth, and no better people one can find to call friend!

Dogman, I'd bet those people are the same ones to give you the shirt off their back if you asked. You have no ideal, not all of the poor are crooks. When I could I would help, and feel good about it.
Hell, they would give you the shirt and more if they could, with no thought for themselves.
Being poor is not a crime, but the way they sometimes are treated, IS!
In most cases it is not their fault they are where they are in life......!

There is definitely a war being waged against cash. In every store I frequent, it's always the same damn question: "Do you have a rewards card?" to which I respond: "Keep your 1% savings and I'll keep my individuality and privacy thank you. I will not be absorbed!" The looks I get are priceless. Most people today are so beaten down and dronelike - it depresses the hell out of me.

Rewards card? You mean like many of the grocery stores like to use? If so, either give 'em fake info or just grab the card at the service desk and tell 'em you'll fill it out later. Then just use the card. It's always worked for me. The store by me is a lot more 'spensive if you don't have their stupid little card.
As far as they know, my name is John Griswald and I live at 1234 Pine St
lol
One other way is to ask the cashier to use her card. A lotta times they'll do that anyways if you don't have one.

That's what I do at some stores. But at Turkey Hill where I only buy gas, I just can't be bothered. I must getting old because the days seem to fly by and I feel like I'm racing to get my daily rounds completed. I don't have time to deal with cards and such. I got the gas - here's the cash - sayonara!
