A nice gesture, although I am dismayed that you use the X instead of Christ.
The vast majority of people here came from GIM which means they probably invested in PM's a long time ago, if so they have made a tidy profit, so no excuses for not having the money to donate.
I understand times are tough for people, but as far as politics are concerned I think it's now or never, for one a candidate like Ron Paul comes along once a life time and two the country can ill afford more years of marxist leadership. I am not delusional to think RP could turn it around, but he could certainly repeal a bunch of executive orders, veto marxist legislation and install SC Judges.
Our Founders bet it all on a chance to be free they were willing to put down their very lives not to mention their money. I think we should take that chance as well.
Look at it this way, money printing leads to inflation which makes us all poorer, our current top tax rate is 35% and I know we have people here in that bracket, there is a damn good chance that in the future the tax rate will be over 50% so the money you spend now may indeed save you money later on.
Another reason to donate is that RP has the national stage, this is the prime time to plant seeds and begin to wake people up and RP does just that.

Not even Ron Paul will be able to do anything about what is to come (only slow it down) so that what I hold will do me more good than what he will be able to do for me, besides, I already donated $100.00 so far.

Good going Mick! Wow, and you did it in the name of Christmas too!
I thought GSUS members were mostly anti-Christmas atheists...I guess there are exceptions.
Merry Christmas to you!

Thank you Mick !
Did you see the Ron Paul appearance on Jay Leno ?
I don't think that was canned audience applause. I have never seen so much enthusiasm for a political candidate.

I'm sure Ron Paul appreciates your very generous donation!
Keep the movement alive by talking with people; ask the question What do you Think about Ron Paul?? This gives you the chance to share his views and by openly supporting him, we're dismissing the stigma that he can't win.
Thanks again Mick!

Thanks Mick!
Only our grass roots donors will get Dr. Paul elected, since he will not give in to PAC's, and sure as hell won't be funded by Wall Street, big banks, etc., like Obunghole and the other repubics.
Remember, induviduals can donate up to 2500.00 to a candidate, which will make it an uphill battle compared to the PAC's, which have no limits.
