View Full Version : Today's trip to the BIG town........it was fun today.

Never seen Wally's world so crowded in my life time......went there today to exchanged 2 of my deep cycle batteries that were no good......then went next door to a little place to a eat steak sanwich (yum yum good), while waiting for my order I was reading a book and this lady at the next table said to me "That's a good author" and I said "I know, I have read all his books" and she "That looks to be a good story" and me "It is"...............anyway.......I finished my sandwich and as I was leaving I turned to her and giving her the book I said "Here ya go, I'll get another one later on" she "NO, I could not do that" me "This is the only Christmas gift that I am giving out this year, please take it" she "Well thank you very much"..................................husband looking and saying nothing till I was leaving and then he say's "Do you live alone?" me "Yes I do" him "How would you like to spend Christmas with us" me "No thank you very much and Merry Christmas"..........they are probably talking now about the dirty looking old man who gave them a brand new book for free hahahahahahahahahahah..................some times life is good.

Almost forgot, gas is at $3.55 a gallon and the kid who filled up my tank was a real nice and happy guy so that I gave him a $5.00 tip......he told me that it was the first time that anyone had given him that much hahahahahaha.....he told me to be sure to come back LOLLLLLLLL.
