True to an extent, but, its not all black and white. We wouldn't have advertising if it didn't work would we? Young people's minds are highly impressionable and when you continuously put thoughts into their heads, an idea takes root. Thats why all the front line forces in the military are young men (can't think for themselves/need direction). Now, with the idea in place, gather them together in large herd numbers, allow alcohol to flow freely and you have the makings of a problem. If the riots of "94" were not mentioned (or a little burp only) everyday, several times a day for weeks prior to the game and if they enforced a no alcohol zone (remember there were many families there as well with kids, a lot stayed away because they expected a riot, to bad the cops/politicians didn't) and open up an area to disperse and move around freely (not caged in like animals), then this might not have had to happen. If a man is up for murder, wouldn't you want to know why he killed someone before passing sentence? Could be he killed to protect his family or maybe he's a nutbag. Point is, all factors must be examined before passing judgement........... Yes the rioters are the end result and will (we all will) pay for their transgressions, but, they are not the only ones to blame.
