Classified as such by CHEMICAL companies. These were homeopathic hospitals for the most part and could not be controlled or profited from.

Devil Dan Rockefeller got his start selling crude oil and alcohol to cure cancer. Later he devolved into supplying medical supplies to both the north and south sides of the (un)civil war and started Standard Oil even later.

His family origins were JESUIT.

His family became so powerful that one of his descendents had the constitution amended (amendment 25) so that he could take over the office of president without a popular election (this would be Nelson).

John D. Rockefeller?

His dad (William) was the huckster who made his money selling a fraudulent cure for cancer. John D. started Standard Oil Company.

The reason why those saleries were so low was because they were priced in gold and silver redeemable paper money

okay, so in 1911, the gold coin of choice (or paper that was backed by it) would have been a 1 ounce st. gaudens $20 coin. so if you made $2,000 a year (the accountant in this example), that would be 100 st. gaudens a year you'd bring in. current spot in 2011 is $1,566. so that would be a salary of $155,600 a year in today's money.

so that would be a salary of $155,600 a year in today's money.

Not so.

The accountant of 1911 would have paid no tax on his wage.

The correct figure would be closer to $300,000 in todays currency whilst taking into account the tax situation.

ah, that is true. again proving the point that monetarily and tax wise, we are way worse off than 100 years ago.
