He'll never be that lucky again this lifetime... he predicted it within $0.04 on the upside, and called the downside PRECISELY!
Either that, or he is really Blythe Masters in real life! :o

Ponce? You are awesome. I know that this was very painful for you to start this thread by saying that I am the winner but you are a tough guy and you will survive.
Now I have an announcement to make and that is this........................
I have officially "cancelled" Ponce's 3 tp debt because, by starting this thread, he publicly admitted that I was the winner of the bet and he satisfied that "condition" for me to cancel the 3 roll tp debt. For me, bragging rights are more important than 3 rolls of tp. Bragging rights are money. :D
Thank you for playing Ponce. Have a happy New Year. :)

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! Hey Gaillo, I am not Blythe Masters. Blythe has nothing on me but I am sure that Blythe is better looking than I am. BTW the 2011 silver high ended up being $49.85 (Kitco intra-day high set in April 2011).

I thought Ponce was going to have to say he bowed down before the great Artman.
Ponce, you aren't taking the easy way out are you?

Actually, when Ponce started this thread, I considered that as him bowing to down to me. Ponce has been a good sport in all of this and I know that the agony of defeat must be painful for him but it will all be ok in 2012. "God. Jr." will recover. :) The bright side to all of this for Ponce is that his 3 rolls of tp are saved since I cancelled the 3 roll tp debt since he admitted that I am the winner. The bright side to all of this for me is that this is bragging rights for me. You have to remember that bragging rights is money. :)

Hey Brewtech. I apologize for my excessive gloating of my "victory" over Ponce. I had to get it out of my system before 2012 began and I am happy to announce that I was successful in doing so. :) Happy New Year and I hope that 2012 will be a good year for you. :)

When we first started this prediction of silver price, my guess was that we would reach and hold $60 in 2011.
I read notes from folks like 1970 silver Art and Larry Edelson... and I really did not believe there would be such a pull back in silver. Sure enough... it did. Edelson is saying we still have plenty to drop. I can't imagine it going under $23.... but the money manipulators make up the rules as they go along.

As long as the JPM and co. continue to have control over the spot silver price, then they can do whatever they want with it. If they wanted to bring it down some more, then they could and 2012 will be no different IMO because it it goes up more than they want, then they will just smack it down like they did 3 times in 2011. However, there will be a point in time where the negative long term economic fundamentals (falling dollar, money printing, rapidly rising U.S. debt levels, etc.) will overcome the JPM artificial manipulation of silver. I have no idea when that point in times comes but when it does, then gold, silver, food, gas, and every other thing that consumers buy will skyrocket up and that will be bad for everybody.
With all of that said, I honestly have no idea of what the silver price will do in 2012. I got out of the internet silver prediction business last night right before New Years day. :)

I really believe before the decade is over we will have a new monetary system
How they will keep the cap on Silver and Gold is beyond my comprehesion.
All I know is when the dollar dies I dont want to be hold anything but hard assets and tangibles regardless of their assigned digital value

It really is amazing to me how you called it so close to the top. It looked like it was going to go over $50 and it didn't. You are the reverse silver sammy!

Amazing predictions Outlaw! You got both the upside and the downside correct. This stuff is legend material. Probably a smart move to get out of the prediction business at this point too. I find it very difficult to make a prediction for the end of 2012. It could be $100 or it could be $25. I don't think we have much downside from here though...

Yeah that is the thing with silver. It could move either way depending on what happens in the U.S. and around the world and it also depends on how much JPM decides to naked short the paper silver price. Also, if the spot price goes up too much in 2012, there is also that possibility that the margin requirements could get raised again. Who knows. Anything can happen with silver prices and I honestly have no idea what the silver price will do in 2012 and I have no idea what the spot silver price will be on December 31, 2012 since my gut feeling is currently enjoying "retirement" from the internet silver prediction business. ;D
The one thing that I noticed with the December silver smack down (as well as the May and September smack downs) is that the premiums of some of the most common silver art bars that are currently selling on ebay have gone down since then but not by much because they still sell above what a local coin shop would normally sell them for. The rare silver art bars (minted by Greathouse Productions, World Wide Mint Coca-Cola, Green Country Mint, etc.) are not affected by the latest down move of the paper spot price. As long as the ebay demand for those types of rare silver art bars is strong, then spot silver price will not matter in this case because those are low-mintage bars that are very hard to find locally. I cannot speak on the other types of silver being sold on ebay because I do not watch the prices on those.
