His campaign has raised $5.957 million as I type. I still believe RP will outshine Obama-wanabe-Romney and 3rd-most-corrupt-senator-Santorum, so I'm going to make another donation just before he hits $6 mil, help push it over the edge. :)

I wish I could get excited about this, but the gate keepers will keep Ron far away from the White House.

This wouldn't be the first time in American History the bankers unsuccessfully tried to stop a president. Against all odds Andrew Jackson was elected president and shut down America's central bank of the day. He survived two assassination attempts, and continued his fight even when the central bank threw the country into a depression to scare the populace. In his own words, "You are a den of vipers and thieves. I intend to rout you out, and by the grace of the Eternal God, will rout you out." If it happened before, it can happen again, even if it is a looooooong shot.

I just sent him a hundred dollars and I'll try to send more as this thing moves along. I think it's our last chance to turn this country around.

I think the counter on his website is scripted and inaccurate. I donated a substantial amount and it just kept going up slowly. It was over an hour before the amount of my donation was reached, and it was not in a large jump like it should have been.

On a positive note, I did get to see my name on the ticker.

Boom! He did it! I agree with Tumbleweed that this is our last shot. And I wouldn't be surprised if his site was set to slowly bring the total up, that way whenever anyone visits the site they can see it going up, which is very encouraging.
