What's THAT about. I just left. If I only wanted 2 peoples opinions or statements, I'd PM them or skype them. Internet chat with only 2 folks who know how to operate the buttons is too wierd.

Wake me when equal opportunity returns to chat.

Would you clarify this beef? Are you talking about the audio?

Osoab,
yes the audio is what I'm talking about. It was hideous.

I'd never seen it that login screen before nor what happened when I "signed in" like this time. Manipulating what appeared it was NOT intuitive in the slightest! Quite the contrary. Said format/login/lack of even a friggin' mute button to engage while I poked on what GUIs I did see, was affrontive and an assault on the senses, visually as well as aurally.
I hurriedly exited in baffled frustration!

At least when I'm reading, I can skip over stuff or people I'm not interested in interacting with...there was NO CHOICE... just BLAM some GS'ers going on and on and on about some idiotic political nuance that didn't amount to a hill o'beans, and was not cordial but politically highly charged. YUCK!

...but when only one can talk at a time, it takes away freedom of choice/chatroom mobility is it were, especially in an unfamiliar landscape. GUIs were no help...just droning on and up and down "thermometers" which indicated which of the 4 audio parties were requiring the rest of us to listen to their competitive political analysis.

Sunny &....
of course the technology is cool...so is microscopic knee surgery...doesn't mean I have to be overwhelmed by it, cold mackeral slap-wise when going to a "chatroom" and trauma team surgeons hogging the convo and little else available for someone not interested in microscopic knee surgery minutae.
What's cool about THAT?

There is an option in the lower righthand corner of the display to lower the volume for tinychat. That's how I did it.
