In the video, a female deputy holds the woman from behind while her partner appears to deliver a sweeping blow to the left side of her face. It's unclear whether he strikes her with his fist or right forearm.
The man who recorded the video told NBC-TV Channel 4 that the woman was polite and friendly toward the other passengers as she boarded the bus. He said she started cursing at the deputies when they asked her to get off.
Authorities said the deputies boarded the bus in Bellflower on Monday night after somebody called 911 to report an out-of-control woman. Deputies knew the woman and were aware that she had four prior convictions for assaulting a police officer, said sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.
Baca said the woman was causing problems on the bus and was known to have a history of mental illness.

Arraignment was delayed Monday for a 48-year-old woman accused of cutting off his penis and putting it in the garbage disposal.

Catherine Kieu, of Garden Grove, was indicted last Thursday on one felony count of torture and one felony count of aggravated mayhem.
She also faces a sentencing enhancement for personal use of a knife.

Prosecutors say Kieu spiked her 60-year-old husband's tofu dinner with drugs on July 11 of last year.

She then threw it in the garbage disposal and turned the disposal on, mutilating the organ, according to prosecutors.

Kieu was the one who called 911, and authorities say she told responding officers that her husband "deserved it."

Her husband was treated and released from UC Irvine Medical Center, where doctors were unable to re-attach his penis.

Police say they believe Kieu was upset at her husband for filing for divorce after 16 months of marriage.

The pair was married on Dec. 29, 2009, and Kieu's husband, who has not been identified, filed for divorce in May 2011.

They continued living together in a condominium complex in Garden Grove.

On the night of the alleged attack, the couple had reportedly argued over the possibility of a friends staying at their condo at a later date.

Kieu has pleaded not guilty to the charges against her.

I'd just like to say women are the purest form of beauty in this world. The way their eyes light up with a smile, their passionate nature, the ability to bring life into this world. The love of a good woman is the energy behind a man and his achievements. Women are to be respected, cared for, cherished, and protected.

I think so many men are confused today, on what women want in a man. I also think that many men feel they have lost their value to women. Because of this, some just become withdrawn and others will attack as a defense.
It's a problem that needs a solution.

To tell the truth, I don't think the cop handled it very well, but it appeared as the woman did disturb the peace, and allegedly she tried to knee his balls, she didn't appear to have gotten any visible physical injuries from the strike, on the other hand it didn't look like she calmed down either, so what he did wasn't very effective.

Compare this with the McDonalds chimp out incidence a couple of months ago, where the employee beat up two small black women with an iron rod when they were already down, and just continued beating on them. At that time many of those that supported that mans excessive force against the women are now against this police's rather mild blow?

The women in both instances were crazy, and they were a potential threat, but the force used was greatly different. One was convicted earlier for manslaughter and used great force, the other one was hired to protect the peace and used very small force. And people here seems to think that the Manslaughter convict was right while the Cop wasn't?
