"“I think it’s good. I think if someone has something to hide and they’re going to worry about it, who cares?” Robert McDougall added."

Haven't we heard this Mantra before??

Yes we have. It's called "self-replicating, self-reinforcing social engineering".

Programmed response constantly reiterated until it becomes truth.

This time "Comrade McDougall" is the conduit.

When you’re inefficient and can’t catch the real criminals, you create new ones and catch them to pad your numbers.

“The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.”

From our favorite Jewish beauty queen, Ayn Rand

The same logic should apply to the government - If you aren't doing anything wrong, you should have nothing to hide.

But they hide a lot, ergo they are doing a lot incorrectly.
