You know, I can't get past the fact that the author of that article believes that fiat dollars = wealth. The whole premise is that there's trillions of dollars missing and if it was ever found then we'd have new prosperity for Americans. Fiat money does not equal prosperity. Dump $5 trillion into the economy and all you'll have is massive price inflation as the new money chases the same amount of goods and services. $5 trillion in gov't directed upgrades to the United States equals $5 trillion of lost purchasing power for everyone else, regardless of whether the money is found hidden in some secret vault or printed/digitized out of thin air.
