Found this six-minute motivational video in The Oil Age forum's feel-good section and a member there immediately posted this response under the video:


Pablum for the mindless masses. Take a hammer. Smash someone's fingers with it. Then see if they keep going. Shoot them in the kneecap, try the same. The lesson you learn is that cheerleading happy thoughts doesn't change the limitations imposed by physical reality. Anyone who wishes to sign the liability release, I would be happy to educate on these topics in person. Better yet, have a family member do it to you, then you will be less inclined to sue.:)

I don't find this motivational at all, but maybe that's because I'm a chick. The coach barking orders was thoroughly irritating, and I can't believe people can't see how these kinds of exercises are humiliating and a bit homo-erotic at the same time.

Now if the coach were replaced with a half-naked dominatrix in heels it would be a smidgeon more watchable. ;-)
