There was no risk of a radiation leak after a fire broke out at a Moscow nuclear research centre housing a non-operational 60-year-old atomic reactor on Sunday, said officials, but Greenpeace Russia expressed serious concern about the incident.

Eyewitness account:

The ambulance doctor said @ about 11:00, that firefighters searched the building, have not found the source of the fire, the smoke rises from a depth of 75m of underground structures?? No clear answer given. The media reported that @ 11:00 "fire in the basement floor put out" and the phrase that "would apply foam." Those are the obvious contradictions in the sense of, 'extinguished' and 'will apply'.
