I have to rename him to "Broadway Celente" for the way that he speaks, like to a crowded theater.

Yeah-butt...... this "direct democracy" thing is worrisome. Since when is a democracy good? And, how do you assure true voting in an electronic system?

"Let the people vote"???? They do every day. And, the majority- or at least the pleurality want Obama. In the land of idiocracy, a democracy is a dangerous thing.

I dont see it that way at all. call it direct voting if you wish... it is obvious it doesnt work to put the gang of 535 in charge of things... I for one would like to vote on how my money is spent. I try not to get caught up in terms.... With the information age and communication and travel We the people have much more available acess to the issues and such than our founding fathers could have envisioned. What does a representative do? He represents the peoples will and biddings. We now have the ability to represent ourselves... So I say Why not?

So what are you proposing? only white males of christian persuasion can vote? Kinda sounds like where you were going? :)
