Guy writes a message on his wall about his estranged wife, judge sentences him to 60 days in jail. :o
Instead of jail, the guy is forced to display an apology to his wife on his FB wall.

Posting on Facebook is now potentially a criminal offense. Officially.
I ditched my FB acct months ago... looks like that was the right decision.

Insane..
In a nutshell. Yes. That's what living in da US has become. Certifiable, in fact.

I disagree.
I got up to 5000 reasons to stay off of facebook, but for the life of me I can't find the last 323 reasons. Now we are up to 5323 reasons. What was the 5322 reason again?
I'm glad I don't facebook, for these reasons. Life is great when you don't need a reason.

I still use Facebook, but I completely stopped with everything political. Hell I even listed myself as a Democrat and I put in false address locations, pictures of "myself", E-mails, and so forth. Personally I think its a good way to stay in touch with family and put up a false identity for the gubermint. The world is a stage and I play my part as a dumb sheep who runs a porn business. Nothing suspicious here.

That's some pretty tortured reasoning there. You want to stay in touch with your family? Pick up some beer, wine, coffee or flowers on your way over to see them. If not geographically possible - pick up the phone.
At this point in the game there is no justification for thinking people to use Google products or FB - it's just plain stupid.

Hey, just because some of you see no merit in it, doesn't make it "just plain stupid".
I hate country music. It's just plain stupid, IMO. But there are a million people out there that love it, and would kick me in the ass for saying it sucks.
I use facebook for networking, and for quickly and easily contacting friends and family whenever I feel like it. It's handy, it's convenient, and it's fun.
Knowing that Facebook IS THE TOOL that Zbigniew Brzezinski spoke about in his book (Between Two ages: A.R.I.N.T.T.E.) is half the battle. I personally just don't care. Being that I live in Canada, all my firearms are registered, etc, so I don't hesitate to put up pics of almost any kind. Fuck it. If TPTB were interested in me, and they didn't know who I was already, then they need to hire better employees for their intelligence agency.
Anyways, I use it and like it.

"But Meyers said Mark Byron could avoid the sentence by paying back child support..."
They just wanted the money, the court system gets a cut. The apology was a red herring.

Ha ! Awoke !!
Everybody hates country music til they come to one of my parties (rated G of course !)
& then they're like all hooked and secretly playing it in their car on the way to work &
downloading it but don't wanna look like they've crossed over just a little bit with all that twang noise in country music.
At first hear, it hurts your ears, then you kinda get used to it just a little, then you start to feel it in your bones & wanna go take a ride on your tractor !
Oh wait, if you don't have tractor, you'll want one !
Just kidding. I think.
LOL !
