I'm pissed! Nobody treats Ron Paul like this!

I think they were both joking around. He patted Paul on the back and they were both laughing about it. They both know the whole process is a charade, and that was Santorum's way of saying "you sure got me there, buddy!"

I don't think so...it's a handshake a mook jock gives to the apparently weak and helpless science club geek, and ron paul just laughs it off hoping this bullying will only be a few minutes. I know that situation all too well. It's the same situation gentiles feel when their jew masters abuse them while laughing about how they're the chosen ones while they sent gentile children to die as burnt offerings to molech.

It's the act of an immature undignified little egotist. Guys like Sanctorum and Romney don't get it because they live in a bubble; but real men and women have died because of the decisions or lack thereof of these country club boys. Ron Paul has served his country. Ron Paul is grounded in the real world. Ron Paul sees and understand first hand the impact on real people that his decisions have. When we have supersillious twits like Sanctorum and Romeny running for the presidency, the republic is very sick indeed.
During the best days of the Roman republic, public officials were the most respected citizens. But, the law was most strict and unyielding when it dealt with even the whiff of impropriety by a public official. And anyone who attempted to corrupt a public official faced a severe punishment or death. The Romans understood that the integrity of those who roam the halls of power was paramount: the fish rots from the head down. The watchwords for the citizen of the day were personal responsibility and seriousness of purpose. When a Roman arch was completed, the architect stood under the structure while the wood scaffolding was removed. By doing this, he literally stood in support of his work and was prepared to pay with his life if he failed in his duty to build a structure sound and true. Unfortunately, men such as these have been chased out of leadership positions, replaced by lesser men more skilled in making excuses, transferring blame to others and exulting themselves as victims of circumstance.

That pat on the back was aggressive, too. it didn't look like the old buddy-buddy kind of pat, more like a slap.

Yeah, I watched it again, and the PRICK is pulling and pushing him in and out of his chair. Watch as RP tries to stabilize himself. That's definitely not how you treat someone as aged as RP is. He could have broken his wrist!

Santorum Socket Wrenches Paul...
After last night’s GOP debate, per usual, the candidates shook hands as they cleared the stage. But one handshake in particular between Rick Santorum and Ron Paul could be classified as assault. Or a misdemeanor, at least.
Watch as Paul extends his arm halfway, palm out. Santorum seizes it in a “put ‘er there, partner!” kind of way then aggressively pumps in and out, making it look like a yanky dance:
The name of this handshake is “the socket wrench (http://wesleycox.hubpages.com/hub/handshake-etiquette)“:
This handshake is very much the same as the water pump; however, the pumps are in and out as opposed to up and down. Most often the socket wrench handshake is achieved when the shaker pulls the shake into their territory then commences to push them backward. This move is performed by power players in an attempt to get the shake off balance and in the shakers zone. You could get injured in this form of handshake.

I'm going to the next santorum rally just to shake his hand...a double water elbow snapping pump and a triple arm socket wrecking wrench!

I agree that it was inapporpriately aggressive, to the point where it could have caused injury. I just don't think he meant to cause harm. Frankly, I think he was trying to overcome the awkwardness of being publicly embarrassed by the truth that Ron Paul spoke, and it resulted in this awkward exchange.

I think they were both joking around.
Ron Paul was sitting and put his hand out, these men are running for the highest elected office of the most powerful nation on earth they aren't high school guys in a locker room.
This is immature at best, so much so in fact that these antics on public TV show a lot about Santorums character. And in my mind insights like these alone show that he is not qualified to be President.
As I have said from the first time I ever watched santorum speak he seems very emotionally unstable I honestly think if I could talk with him for a few minutes I could push his buttons so hard he would snap and start shooting people.

Yeah. I'm not saying it was appropriate.

Rick Santorum has mental problems... the man is insane. Watching this, I couldn't have expected anything less.
RP is a tough guy, however. I'm sure he just shook it off.

Santorum has always looked to me like a scared little boy about to cry if he doesn't get his way. He shows nothing in the way of leadership.

Right, he reminds me of a male cheerleader type from highschool.
