For older generation Glock owners, you can emulate the newer RFT finish by simply using a hot soldering iron, to texture the frame. It is called "Stipple".
Search "Glock Stipple" in any search engine.

(I just wanted to fit in)

I've seen people use skateboard tape... gives the same grippier effect, and it's reversible for when it comes time to sell the gun. Can't undo the soldering iron meltage, and if anything it would probably DECREASE the resale value.

I've been thinking of getting one of those tactical lights for one of my Glocks:

The problem being that with the light attached it would no longer fit the holsters I have for them.

I know you can buy holsters that will fit them with attachments, but it you're trying to avoid that, you're kind of "out of luck". I love Crimson trace though!

I personally don't go for the stipple finish...but a nice Cerakote ceramic coating would be desirable to me and I think would enhance the value. The possibilities are endless. http://www.cerakoteguncoatings.com/gallery/

And you can't lift prints off of skateboard tape. Or so says Boston T. Party.

What is that on the end of that glock? A connector for a silencer?

Yeah.. threaded barrel for a supressor or a compensator according to the guy I bought it from.

No idea why you'd want to screw on a compensator.

You can keep a Tac Lite on your Firearm that protects your home.... as that is very advantageous to be able to blind a attacker and you have booth hands firmly on your gun. If it has a Laser that is a very intimidating factor as well ( I was never a fan of that Flash lite cross hand over thingy)

I wont Have a tricked out gun on my sidearm if I leaving the house..so any standard holster will do ( I do like Blackhawk Side Paddle attachments)
