Came across a good site for directions on building a home still. This would be good for SHTF situations where fuel is required for vehicles or equipment, or if you wanted to make moonshine.

With this one can make ethanol fuel for vehicles or spirits to drink. To use pure ethanol, a carburated vehicle is probably best, as the jets can be increased in size to compensate for the oxygen in the ethanol (which helps maintain the air fuel ratio). Some modern fuel injected vehicles are flex fuel and run on E85, which is 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. The gasoline is utilized to help with very cold starting.

Rough carb jetting for converting to Alcohol

1.4 IE you need 1.4 times the fuel for the same performance so fuel jets need to increase by that ratio.

The nice thing about alcohol is you really can't run it too rich so err on the rich side when rejetting. To lean is BAD!!!
