I don't know anything about this apart from what Alex Jones said, but even a direct hit of a 60 meter asteroid, though devastating for the region it hit, wouldn't be a threat to humanity at large.

I am now super-sensitized to judgments and warnings from God. I am looking for patterns and warnings.

On this day in 1913, Delaware, Wyoming and New Mexico approved the income tax-enabling 16th Amendment to the Constitution, putting it over the top.
The newly ratified amendment read: “The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several states, and without regard to any census or enumeration.” In practice, it permitted Congress to impose an income tax on individuals and corporations, as was soon done under enabling legislation, the Revenue Act of 1913

I plan on approaching this asteroid as if it is going to hit us. How's that for a reply?

This is the guy that de-bunked elenin early on last April. I also have a friend who has a friend that is an actual astronomer. He asked him last February about elenin, said he felt kind of embarrassed afterwards when he got the reply. Pretty sure he will not approach him about this one , unless evidence is adding up. Apparently, bragging rights in astronomy are sought out by all meaning that if there is something there and can be proven scientifically, no way to hide it.

even being as small as it is, a direct hit would cause a nuclear winter, right? unless of course it hit water. Bet that be some serious ripples.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3n5hodafM9QProbably not, it has been estimated that the Tunguska meteor (1908 ) was about this size (60 m). And the effect of that meteor has been estimated to have been around 1/3 of the biggest nuclear bomb tested, the Tsar Bomba... I'll promise to praise the lord as long as I live if it hits Tel Aviv/Jerusalem...

"we made a error in calculations , incoming astroid is now projected to be 1,500 feet in diameter and an imminent threat to earth. We are calculating which continent it will impact on. Stay tuned"

Not to be a prick, but the thing is the BLT's, who say they are jews but are not, are scattered all over the earth, with a massive concentration in NY and other USA cities.

I know (hope) you're joking by wishing or praying for the comet to hit Israel in order to purify us from the scourge of satanic cultists, but biblically Israel will be reinstated again be the cradle of humanity in union with God. So an asteroid smacking into that region runs the risk of taking out the real and true lines of David, whom I personally suspect could be the Palistinians.

The mix up here is akin to saying that the current global crisis is because of the banksters, and then wishing an asteroid would take out all the girls that work as tellers. It would be taking out the wrong people.

Got one reply for people looking into it.
From my research, at this time they are 60% sure it will come within 17,000 feet of earth. They are using the 1-10 point score and are currently at a 6. Closer to the event, the percentage of surety will rise. I notice that they removed this web page today that mentioned they were 60% sure of where it would pass and now are saying the odds are one in 100,000 that it will hit earth. My guess is they are backtracking to avoid any panic. Even if it hits, according to Impact Earth (http://www.purdue.edu/impactearth/), if the asteroid does hit on land, anything within 10 miles of impact will be destroyed but it would not stir up dust and cause climate change or change the earth's tilt or rotation. When entering its estimated size (60 meters) and speed (About 13 km/s - They don't know the density yet, so I entered iron for worst case scenario) and a low angle into Impact Earth we see that if it hit earth, the area inside 20 miles from impact would be affected, but everyone else would be safe. The crater would be about 3,060 feet in diameter according to Impact Earth.

Although this is the real deal and not like the Elenin hoax, I believe that it will be devastating only for those who live within 10 miles of impact.

well, on the golf course, thats a big number. Is about 3.2 miles in distance . So, given a trillion dollars in $1,000 bills (I know non existant) it would stack up 67.9 miles high. So I would venture to say in 'space ' terms, 3.2 miles is nada. Wonder at what distance from earth gravitational pull begins?

that reminded me of "Oswald's magic bullet" theory...lol

on a serious note, what is the likelyhood of an impact triggering other serious geophysical events like earthquakes? is there any record of a meteor impact triggering a quake?

I don't think there is such a record, but I remember reading about that big nuclear test on the island off the coast of Alaska, and it triggered multiple aftershocks. So I would guess it could trigger that type of geophysical activity, but it depends on where it lands...

And if there is anything behind the power of prayers it will land in Tel Aviv, and create subsequent disastrous earthquakes in Jerusalem, Washington DC, New York, Hollywood, City of London, the Vatican and at the BIS in Switzerland... Praise the LORD!
