Just the name of it...tongkat, sounds bad-ass. I wonder if Gaillo would change my username to tongkat. You know a dude with the name tongkat has the ability to kick some major ass.

there is a (converse) correlation between doctor-administered testosterone and prostate cancer, if there is a family history of prostate cancer.

i would be cautious about boosting a central hormone & manipulating the endocrine system. i'm not saying it's bad, just that it's heavy duty.

by 'converse', i mean, more testosterone yielded the higher prostate cancer rates. i just did the one websearch but it was a fairly consistent message.


on a separate note, Time or Newsweek had a picture of a prostate gland a few years ago.

it looked like a plum that had been skinned.

To assume is always dangerous when recommending medicinals or the like. Some of these natural herbs have pharmaceutical level power. Any herb that boosts testosterone is going to boost the risk of prostate cancer in the population as a whole. Personally, I wouldn't take such an herb unless I were clinically ill and low testosterone was a major factor.

I wouldn't take that specific herb, but there's lots of natural SAFE herbs that can be used to SAFELY increase testosterone levels.
Don't take testosterone boosting herbs unless you are healthy !!!! (but just needing a boost !! )
