I've been to a couple of Cirque shows, and seen many on screen. The thing I hear myself repeating most when watching these people perform is:

I'm confident they perfected the cup tossing with their feet on the ground BEFORE they attempted to do so on shorter unicycles until they worked they way up.

That was my initial thought too LT. If not, they are surely weighted on the bottom for such nice stacking ability, and how they all 'flip' mid-air to nest properly.

Seeing someone who has practiced something so much that they are this good at it is always incredible.

well, that answers a question i've wondered about for a long time.

given that they have a population of 1 Billion +, well probably more like 1.3 Billion, you would think that their talent pool for professional athletes would be DEEP and that Chinese athletes would begin to dominate more sports.


in any case, they got good BALANCE. i think China could produce some World Title contenders in the surf world.

but i think most of their young people are busy making iPods etc.
