People have figured out Obomo is a shoe-in for a second term.
The gun business loves Obama!
Gun sales boom in expectation of Obama re-election
Gun sales are booming across Texas, and some buyers say their growing belief that President Barack Obama's re-election is inevitable is fueling their race to bear more arms.
So brisk have sales been that the rush has created a nationwide shortage of firearms and ammunition, the Star-Telegram reports. Fort Worth gun shop owner DeWayne Irwin said the rush is similar to one seen shortly after the president's 2008 election.
Alan Korwin, author of nine books on gun laws and operator of a gun laws website, tells the Star-Telegram that some are worried that Obama's re-election would embolden a major gun control push.
Korwin said people worry that if Obama wins "he will go after firearms in a way we have never seen before." He added the belief is fueled by perceived disarray in the field of candidates for the Republican presidential nomination.

I'm thinking it's more critical to stock up on ammo. That's what Barry will go after..not so much the guns..

I'm going to wager that over 90% of these folk are Ron Paul supporters. If they are smart and aware enough to be arming themselves, this must be so.

absolutely. there's nothing in the bill of rights about the right to own 9mm, 7.62 X .39, .270, .223, .45, etc.

The right to bear arms also encompasses the integral ammo. Ammo is parts of arms.

they've already started ignoring it though. i've been to a ton of of places that won't sell you handgun ammo unless you're 21, even though you can posses the handgun at 18. this effectively renders the handgun useless for 3 years.

Sounds like Texas is a Ron Paul state. We'll soon see how they vote.

I wondered about that also, but they could tax the heck out of the ammo..

well, in any case, this is one of the reasons that anytime i ever go to a store that sells ammo, i always buy one box of something whether i need it or not.

Yeah but you can't tell that to "Mr. Constitutional scholar"
"Democracy is the the ONE and ONLY form of government that can truly respond to the assperations of citizens. America's founding fathers understood this truth"

Just remind people that they never pledged allegience to "Democracy" on which it stands.
People don't even know what a "Republic" form of government IS these days, nevermind know how much they should cherish and protect it.
