So are you saying you would do the same? I blame her..... I blame her and everyone like her for continuing the thoughts that it is okay to suck off the system. That they are owed something? I see the point that the government is stealing from me so why not steal from them but that isn't exactly who you are stealing from, is it? So is the only option to stop paying taxes to stop the contribution to people and things like this and then if caught/audited spend years in prison for the greater good?

The Michigan woman who won the lottery but stayed on public food assistance will no longer be dining off the taxpayers’ dime.

Amanda Clayton, the 24-year old Lincoln Park resident who won $1 million in the state lottery but continued to use $200 a month in food stamps, has had her benefits revoked by the Michigan Department of Human Services.

According to Michigan DHS, those receiving food benefits must notify the state of a change in income or assets within 10 days.

A woman who admitted to receiving food stamps after winning $1 million on a Michigan state lotto game show was found dead today.

The circumstances surrounding Amanda Clayton's death were not immediately released by police, but ABC News' Detroit affiliate WXYZ-TV reported that sources within the police department said they suspect the woman died of an overdose.
