Taxes are due in about a month, silver takes a nice drop. What are the odds?
I'd love to pick up some physical, but I have the biggest tax bill of my life coming April 15.
I hate this damn government.
I figured if I was going to vent, you guys are the ones who can relate.

We got more back this year than any year before. Having the second kid and getting laid off probably had somethign to do with that, but we were glad to have the money, I wont lie, it went a loooooong way.
Sorry you're gettng hurt. Maybe if you have a bunch of kids you can get make it up in the child tax credit :P

I'm just bitching, all things considered I'd rather be paying in than getting back. Like I tell people, I'd rather work 60 hours per week than 20.
I'm not looking for pity or anything, just pissed the the government does what it does.

I'm in the exact same situation. I "owe" a shit load of protection money to the criminals. Want to buy Silver, but I can't.

Oh i hear ya man. Thankfully, we've never wound up owing anythign additional and usualy get a decent return. Sucks when not only do they take all year, then they magicaly get to say "hey, we want more still".
Funny how it works for them.

The coincidental rise in gas prices with tax returns has become obvious.

I hear ya, a few years back I made a similar rant when the gov't removed 40% of a bonus I worked my ass of to earn. Pissed me off then, pisses me off today.

its better to pay because that means you kept more of your money under your direct control......rather then getting a big refund.....which means you gave them a interest free loan for 12 months.
