- Inhabitants in Neuhofen im Innkreis in Austria are puzzled. A strange, deep, perfectly round hole suddenly appeared over night leading down to a metallic construction 25-foot underground. The entire area is now filled with reporters, archaeologists, geologists, UFO experts, and of course many curios visitors who want to see what was happened.

I saw the video where they lowered down a camera in the hole, it looked like a hole.... My guess is that a farmer drilled for water in the field, he struck rock with high iron content (thus a magnet sticks to it), he abandoned drilling, and now he is sitting back with a smile watching the commotion... ;)

Good possibility Neuro.

Such things are facinating. What if it was not done by him? What would make a hole without showing a mound of dirt outside? The idea of a burial and rotted piece of wood does not sound feasible. If there was a spire of lime, or a tree or something else that dissolved, it would not appear suddenly and because of the mixture of ground, the hole probably would have fallen in on itself.

So... it looks like it was either drilled or melted. I would like to know if there was a radioactive signature.

if it was drilled, there would be spillage around the hole. could it be some type of cylindrical space junk that fell out of orbit? there's a lot of junk floating around our planet...

something falling from a great height, with enough mass, could theoretically punch a 25' deep hole in the earth with little trouble. it will be interesting to see what develops...

maybe ET is looking for some gold (or guns) they stashed there many moons ago.

Wouldn't it create an impact crater? Or maybe the ground was to soft for that (initial penetration with little resistance). It seems like the hole goes straight down... Maybe a part ejected from a satellite stationary in space relative earth? Like a TV satellite?

I remember these holes in Guatemala from a few years ago:

I've looked at this a few times now. The quality of the film sucks... and they move fast when they did not have to, as if they meant to keep it poor. A couple spots I wanted to see more slowly and even the wall of the hole was masked. This smells like a fraud. Looks like a drilled hole.

Did Sandra Bernhardt move to Europe?

Doesn't help when they tape a camera and flashlight to a bungee cord.
