Dear Valued user,

Your email account will be blocked in response to a complaint received by the administration.
According to provision 13.3 of Terms and Conditions, Yahoo may at any time, terminate
its Services for account.

You can upgrade now to the newest Yahoo! Mail to avoid this termination process.
Once your account is upgraded, we will restore your account to its normal state.

UPGRADE NOW
Kindly note that you have to perform this upgrade as soon as possible to avoid
loosing your account data.

Has anybody else got this? I don't know why I would get a complaint, I only email friends and use it for business?

It's a Phishing email, ignore it.

Scam - that is not from Yahoo

The first sign is that any official Yahoo email will address you by your FULL NAME, not your email address or a generic greeting like Dear User
A real Yahoo mail will have a purple Y! next to the message in your inbox
And Yahoo ALWAYS spells it's name Yahoo! with the exclamation point - these scammer's don't in the second sentence so it's definitely not from Yahoo

Mark it as Spam and Delete it

I'm surprised I didn't get that notice.

My old Yahoo account is totally infested with spam, and if that's not bad enough, spammers have hacked my account and sent mail out to people in my contacts list. So I took the nuclear option of deleting all my contacts, but whoever used my account to spam my contacts saved them, because periodically I still get "mail" that shows that they're still doing it. I guess that's what I get for using the account primarily to sign up for things online and as the e-mail associated with my Fakebook account.

I notice there's a new scam: e-mails that look like they're from your You Tube account, but instead of sending you to You Tube the links go to spam sites.

To figure out if the link is legit, just hover the mouse over the text to see where it's really going to.

But I hate going to the Yahoo homepage, because I get sucked into stories like this:

http://news.yahoo.com/video/oddnews-22772304/6-million-blackjack-win-in-one-night-panda-poo-tea-noori-the-first-pashmina-goat-clone-28675683.html

The non-video version:

The man with the Midas touch: Blackjack maverick makes $5.8million in just 12 hours (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1390403/Revealed-The-man-beat-3-Atlantic-City-casinos-15-million-playing-blackjack.html)

They put it up like it's current news, but this story is from last year. ::)
