idk...the homes look fine to me. Not saying I'd want a home there.

Let's look at some of the homes in tornado ally or the low lying areas of the Missippi valley for comparison.

Earthquake did this. Many fires also occur after the natural gas lines break.

nitpicking. It's ALL going to burn.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Yeah...don't move away from obvious disaster areas. The bible says so.

And Matthew wrote:

"In those latter days, there would be one adept at breaking balls with extreme alacrity. His sardonic sneering cynicism would stultify the most assiduous believer. He would be as a locust on innocent inquiry and earnest assurance. He would be called El Libro." LOL

The thing is, you need a place to live BEFORE the day of the Lord, so you really don't want your house destroyed prematurely.

The wise man built his house upon the rock
The wise man built his house upon the rock
The wise man built his house upon the rock
And the rain came tumbling down

Oh, the rain came down
And the floods came up
The rain came down
And the floods came up
The rain came down
And the floods came up
And the wise man's house stood firm.

The foolish man built his house upon the sand
The foolish man built his house upon the sand
The foolish man built his house upon the sand
And the rain came tumbling down

Oh, the rain came down
And the floods came up
The rain came down
And the floods came up
The rain came down
And the floods came up
And the foolish man's house went "splat!" [clap hands once]

I know where that nieghborhood is. It's at the base of the mountain range I live in. Being up against chapperal foothills, wildfire is their worst fear, and several homes burned in the last large fire. Then there's the natives. San Bernardino at one time was the murder capital of the US.

well, of course I agree this is not a good place to build a house. Just reminding everyone of the "big picture" :)
