We dont teach love at this school............

North Carolina middle school student has been suspended for hugging a teacher. WECT-TV reports that Ryan Blackmon, an eighth grade student at Bladenboro Middle School, was suspended when he hugged his teacher after she broke up a potential fight between himself and another student.
“”I said, ‘Thank you,’ after she got done,” Blackmon told the station. “I went to hug her, then she just snatched me up by the arm and drug me to the other teacher and said that I needed to be written up, and that something serious had happened.”

According to school documents obtained by the station, it is against the rules for a student to hug a teacher.
Blackmon’s parents have filed a police report against the teacher and the school after a mark was left on the boy’s arm from where the teacher grabbed him.
“I don’t understand how she could feel threatened if I was showing my gratitude, but she could have told me politely to tell me to move away,” he told the station.
CBS Charlotte has reached out to the Bladenboro Police Department and Bladen County Schools for comment. The school district is currently on spring break.http://charlotte.cbslocal.com/2012/04/12/middle-school-student-suspended-for-hugging-teacher/

I just looked up Bladenboro, looks like it's not so Zimmerman friendly.

I was looking for the teacher, no pics of the staff. Granted, they didn't give the teachers name in the story.

The student attempted to "prefent confideration" to the teacher (a hug), for her actions under dureff in breaking up the fight. Should the teacher accept consideration, she would be bound to the contractual agreement to break up the fight. She instead presented a counter-offer to the student, which he voluntarily accepted. The rest is just maritime law at work in the principal's office (court of equity). The parents being irresponsible wards of the state, had not even 20 silver coins in their possession, and could not act on the students behalf.

The student is hoping to obtain his driving license after his voluntary servitude is over, so that he may operate in commerce upon the ways of the land, and be voluntary subject of the heirarchical food-based make-work bottom feeds the top delusion.

He should have just counter-offered the other kid with a lolipop or something.
